Fairford House in London Fields recently stood empty and unloved. Following a complete restoration there are now four lateral flats in the main building and a new build Coach House at the rear.

The scheme prioritised natural materials and respected the Conservation area constraints. We used hand-made bricks from Germany and the Welsh borders on the extensions and restored and tinted the original facades. Inside, oak parquet floors and lime plaster walls added an honest artisanal quality to the scheme.
